MUKURU SLUMS TOUR.

Mukuru is a collection of slums in the city of Nairobi. It is approximately 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) south of the central business district of Nairobi. It is one of the largest slums in Nairobi. It stretches along the Nairobi–Ngong River, situated on waste lands in the industrial area of the city between the Outering Ring Road, North Airport Road and Mombasa Road. Mukuru is among other major slums in Nairobi such: Korogocho, Kibera and Mathare.

At 8am Fisiafrica Safaris guide will pick you from your Nairobi hotel or apartment and depart for Muruku slum with first stop at Ruben primary school where we will donate the stationaries, story books, pen, colours and pencils. Upon meeting the principal you'll have a chance to interact with the kids and understand the challenges they under go while in the slums. 

Around 1pm we'll have a tour of the Mukuru Kwa Reuben and Kwa Njenga slums which is the biggest. Our tour will end with a matatu culture experience on our way to Nairobi. 

NB. The payment done will be used to buy the stationeries. You can also bring more from your country, school or organization.
