Nairobi National Park is a wildlife sanctuary located just 7 km south of Nairobi, Kenya's capital city. Established in 1946, it was the first national park in Kenya and covers an area of 117.21 km².

The park boasts a diverse range of habitats, including open grass plains, riverine forests, and highland dry forests, making it home to a variety of wildlife species such as lions, black rhinoceroses, giraffes, antelopes, zebras, and numerous bird species.

Despite its small size and proximity to the city, Nairobi National Park is a successful rhinoceros sanctuary and a popular destination for both locals and tourists
